Kristen’s Twilight Tour

by

Have you seen the last instalment in the Twilight Saga yet?  If you haven’t we won’t spoil it for you by giving anything away but you need to get there pronto!

With the promotional tour at an end we thought we would bring you Kristen’s beauty highlights from the last few weeks. Enjoy.

The Breaking Dawn Part 2 hype kicks off with a press conference. Kristen’s trademark tousled, side-swept hair and muted make-up makes an appearance. Kristen is displaying some pretty impressive brows here – if your brows aren’t as full as hers try using Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows in Soft Brown to fill in any sparse areas. Use feather-like strokes to keep your brows looking natural.

The next stop on the Breaking Dawn roller-coaster was Tokyo for a photo call. A stronger brow and the same nude lip but this time they’re accessories with a heavy black, feline liner. We love Estée Lauder Double Wear Zero Smudge Liquid Eyeliner in Black  for creating these heavily inked eyes.

Kristen embodied old Hollywood glamour at the first premiere of the Breaking Dawn Part 2 promotional tour. Golden molten eyes, a raspberry lip and cascading curls. It’s an unexpected beauty move from Kristen but we love it. To create this look on your own eyes blend a tiny amount of Illamasqua Liquid Metal Eye Cream in Enrapture over the lid and up to the socket. Use a blending brush like MAC 217  to soften the edges and blur over the socket. Run a small amount under your bottom lashes.

Kristen is a pro with a nude lip (as seen here at the London premiere) – try MAC Lipstick in Créme Cup, a soft neutral nude which will work on most skin tones. Here Kristen decided to team her nude lip with a smudged worn-in eye (it’s a classic combo). To work some of this magic on your own eyes push MAC Metal X Cream Shadow in Cyber over the mobile lid. Dot a touch of Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyes in Argent Pailettes 25 into the inner corners of your eyes for a highlight and to make your eyes look larger. Before you apply your mascara (we’ve just rediscovered our love for Stila Forever Your Curl Curling Mascara), run a creamy liner like Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion along the entire top and bottom lash line. Take a blending brush like Urban Decay Good Karma Blending Brush  to blur where your liner and your shadow meet.

A peachy toned lip and a touch of highlight was enough for Kristen’s next stop at a photo call in Madrid. Dior Addict Lipstick in 354 Palace is just the right shade of peach for this. NARS Highlighting Blush in Albatross is just the thing to achieve Kristen’s highlighted cheekbones.

Madrid again and a rare plait for Kristen. We think the key to making this plait edgy enough for the red carpet is its slightly undone texture. Leave just a few stray hairs loose around your hairline and fatten up the plait with Aveda Purescription Volumizing Tonic before blowdrying.

It’s the last stop of the Breaking Dawn Part 2 whistle-stop tour and the cast are in Berlin for their final premiere. Kristen opts for a textured ponytail to offset her gold Elie Saab gown. Add some texture and height to your hair with Bumble and bumble Sumotech before backcombing your hair at the crown and securing into a ponytail. This final premiere saw the return of Kristen’s old faithful brown smoky eye – this look is made easy with Benefit Beautiful Eyes Palette.

And that’s a wrap! While there are no more Twilight movies to look forward to at least you can create one of Kristen’s red carpet looks at home.
